Amazon is now selling over 300 Kickstarter successes
You can now add over 300 Kickstarter products to your Amazon wishlists and carts, because the e-commerce company has expanded its Launchpad program to keep crowdfunding projects in orbit.
Amazon Launchpad’s new “Made on Kickstarter” program is home to products that have been backed, built, and are available to ship. You can browse the selection of kickstarted products by categories that include books, housewares, electronics, and more. Many of our favorite crowdfunded gadgets are available in this collection, including the Nextbit Robin.
Amazon Launchpad opened about a year ago, promising startups wider customer reach, brand development, and the opportunity to go global when they’re ready. The company has partnered with incubators, crowdfunding platforms, and more than two dozen venture capital firms to bring hundreds of startups to Launchpad.
One doesn’t have to look far to see how effectively Amazon’s backing amplifies the audience reach of a product. Startup Zivik, for instance, reports that since joining Launchpad, they’ve sold enough of its portable, headless guitars to match the height of the Eiffel Tower five times over if the instruments were stacked end to end. Prynt, a startup that designed a case that turns your smartphone into a Polaroid camera, credits Launchpad for helping them sell enough cases and photo packs to print over 120,000 instant photos.
The best part about these Kickstarter products arriving on Amazon is that many of them are eligible for Prime’s 2-day shipping. To get a look at the kinds of quirky, inventive, and innovative creations now just two days away from your doorstep, head on over to the Kickstarter Collection landing page. Poke around for a bit, then let us know in the comments what kind of products you’ll be scooping up!
