Farming Simulator 18 crops up in Google Play Store
Farming Simulator 18, the latest in Giants Software’s long-running series, has now been released in the Google Play Store. This is only the third Giants Software title to make it to Android after Farming Simulator 14, which has been downloaded more than 10 million times, and Farming Simulator 16 from 2015.
Farming Simulator 18 sees you once again tending to your own farm, planting and harvesting crops, taking care of livestock, and driving more than 50 farming vehicles. Giants Software states these have been “faithfully recreated” from the biggest industry brands including “Case IH, Deutz-Fahr, Lamborghini, Kuhn, Amazone and Krone.”
In addition, Giants Software claims that you can play local multiplayer with friends over Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and boasts that Farming Simulator 18 includes “new front loader attachments” that “expand your options when transporting bales or wood.”
Farming Simulator is actually a deceptively popular video game series. Reports of it being more popular than Call of Duty on Steam are just the start. Farming Simulator 17 was among the biggest selling Steam games of 2016 and has seen chart-topping sales in Germany and France. For a niche, simulation title with zero guns, that’s pretty good going.
