Google finally brings its Clock app to the Play Store
Google has launched many of its own applications into the Play Store, which allows the company to update them individually rather than issuing a fix for an individual app in a software update. Oddly enough, Google’s own Clock app has always been baked into the OS itself, but starting today, it’s now available for all to download.
Landing in the Play Store as version 4.0.1, the aptly named Clock app features all of the standard functionality we’ve been used for some time now. Not only will you get to experience a wonderful implementation of Material Design, Clock has gained a bit of Android Wear support, as well. If you’re interested, take a look at the full description below:
- Enjoy Google’s material design clock experience on your Android device.
- Set alarms, add timers, and run a stopwatch
- Add your favorite cities to the World Clock pane
- Connect with Android Wear to snooze or dismiss alarms from your watch
If you’d like to try the app out for yourself, head to the Play Store link below.
