Google Keep getting its Material Design makeover now
I know this dude that lives up north, he likes to make lists and check them twice. I wonder if he is now using the new Material Design infused Google Keep app on his Android device?
Google started rolling out an update to their checklists, notes and reminders app, Google Keep. The update includes, if nothing else, the Material Design makeover that we’ve seen on a great number of Google’s apps in the last few weeks.
The last time we noticed an update to Keep, it was to include Android Wear functionality, so you can imagine that that was not all that long ago. Today’s update, as with the last, includes the typical bug squashes and performance enhancements, otherwise, Google is keeping (no pun intended) pretty quiet on other changes, so far.
We are not seeing the update push out to our devices through the Google Play Store just yet, but the folks over at Droid Life have captured the apk, if waiting is not an option for you. You’ll be updating to Google Keep version 3.0.1.
We’ll update this post if we find anything further in the new Google Keep, otherwise, keep us informed, are you seeing the update yet?
