It looks like fall will be a busy time for HUAWEI. In addition to the Mate 10 series that’s scheduled to be announced on October 16, the company is apparently also gearing up to launch another smartphone with a 2:1 aspect ratio display called the HUAWEI G10.

After teasers went out last week, live images of the upcoming device have now leaked on Weibo, revealing a few interesting details about it — check them out below.

What makes the G10 interesting is that it will be the company’s first smartphone with an aspect ratio of 2:1, which we have already seen on devices such as the LG G6 and Samsung Galaxy S8 (sort of), just to name a few. Additionally, the G10 will be equipped with a dual-camera setup on the back as well as on the front, which will be a first for a HUAWEI device.

The images also reveal that the handset will have a metal body, a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, and will come with a silver back and white front — although we do expect to see more color options at launch.

Specs of the device haven’t been confirmed yet, but rumors claim that it will feature a 5.9-inch Full HD display, the Kirin 659 chipset, and 4 GB of RAM. The G10 is also said to come with a 3,340 mAh battery and Android 7.1 Nougat with EMUI 5.1 on top, but will likely be upgraded to Oreo in the first few months after its reveal.

The HUAWEI G10 should be announced on September 22 and will initially only be available in China. For now, there’s no word on how much it will retail for or if it will make it to other markets across the globe.
