LG G5 launching on Sprint on April 1, pre-orders start March 24
The LG G5 is one of the most highly anticipated smartphones of 2016. With its modular “friends” capabilities and metal unibody design, it stands to be an extremely competitive flagship device this year. Moreover, initial experience with its camera has proven to be phenomenal, and the ability to hot-swap batteries makes it a no-brainer choice for power users. Today Sprint let us know that the device would be available on their network starting April 1st.

That’s right. This is no April Fool’s joke. The LG G5 will be launching on Sprint at the start of next month, and you can start pre-ordering the handset as early as tomorrow morning online. By the time Friday rolls around, you’ll be able to pre-order at brick and mortar locations if you’re still the kind of person who leaves the computer to go to places.
What’s more, Sprint is financing the device for $0 down. All you’ve gotta do is pay $24 per month for 24 months, and the device is yours. If you want to trade in a device, the carrier is offering a $150 minimum trade-in credit that comes part and parcel with an accessory bundle that they’re valuing at $80. This bundle for the LG G5 includes an extra battery, a charging cradle, and a USB-C to Micro USB adapter.
What are your thoughts regarding Sprint’s LG flagship offer? Worth what they’re putting on the table, or would you still feel more comfortable paying for the device outright?
