For a limited time, you can get 8GB for $50 at Cricket Wireless

Cricket Wireless already offers pretty inexpensive cellular and data plans in the US. Well now, it’s sweetening the pot by offering 8GB instead of 5GB for the $50 monthly plan, including unlimited talk and text. That’s 60 percent more LTE data each month. But hurry if you want in on the deal because it’s for a limited time only!

Cricket Wireless may not be one of the big four carriers in the US, but it undoubtedly gives you more bang for your buck. Everything is prepaid, meaning there are no binding contracts. Plus, after AT&T acquired it back in 2014, all Cricket Wireless devices use AT&T’s cellular and data network, so coverage shouldn’t be an issue for most people.

Customers can also enroll in Auto Pay, which gives you $5 back each month. So technically, you can pay just $45 a month to get 8GB of data and unlimited talk and text.

However, there is a catch: download speeds on LTE max out at 8 Mbps and for 4G, it’s 4 Mbps. If that doesn’t bother you, you can sign up for the special offer through their website or in store even if you are already on the $50 monthly plan with 5GB.
