Motorola Camera gets new features, Motorola Gallery receives Material Design
Motorola just released some pretty nice updates to their Camera and Gallery apps, and should already be hitting most compatible Moto devices. Motorola is showing some Material Design love to the Gallery app, bringing a more responsive, colorful experience to the app. The gallery didn’t look old or outdated by any means, but it’s nice to see a little visual update every now and then.
Moto also updated their Camera app, focusing on features instead of visuals. The timer has been updated a bit, bringing 3-second and 10-second options. If you own a Moto X, Droid Turbo, or Droid Ultra, you can now twist your wrist twice to switch between the front-facing and rear-facing cameras. If you’re a fan of gestures, this update could be really handy. Oh, and Material Design has also come to the Camera app. The default color is now a nice teal that matches the Gallery.
It’s always exciting getting updates to stock apps, especially when they bring both new features and visuals. If you haven’t yet, head to the Play Store using the links below to get your updates!
