Moto 360 with a silver or gold 18mm band arrives, starting at $300
During the first week of November, Motorola finally released its Moto 360 with a metal band option, alongside word of new leather band choices for existing owners. At the time Motorola also said that the Moto 360 would be sold with an 18mm band, though that option had yet to be made available for purchase — until now.
Starting today, you can get the stainless steel 18mm band version of the Moto 360 for $300, or the Champagne Gold 18mm version for $330. While the stainless steel 18mm option costs the same as 23mm metal bands, the gold version commands a $30 premium — whether that’s worth it or not is up to you.
At least for now, the only source for the slim metal bands is Motorola’s website though perhaps more retail locations (offline and online) will pop up as we march ever closer to the holidays. What do you think: Does a slimmer band look good with the somewhat bulky design of the Moto 360, or does it only make the watch’s actual size stand out even more? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
