All Pixel and Pixel XL options are "out of stock" in the US Play Store
If you live in the US and were hoping to get a new Google Pixel or Pixel XL smartphone unlocked and directly from the Google Store, you may have to wait a bit longer. All models of Google’s latest phones are currently shown as being “Out of stock” when you check out the Google Store site.
That’s the bad news; the good news is that if you still want to get one of Google’s new phones in the US right now, there are still a couple of options. The biggest one is from Verizon Wireless, which currently is selling the 32GB models in its retail stores (the 128GB version is sold out for now). All of the Pixel phones are also available on Verizon’s website (Pixel, Pixel XL). If you know that you want to use Verizon as your carrier for the Pixel, this might be the way to go.
Another alternative is buying the phones from Google’s Project Fi wireless service. It appears that they are still available from that carrier, which offers no-contract plans for Google’s new phones. Other regions of the world where the Google Store is selling the Pixel phones, such as the UK and Australia, reportedly still have them in stock, at least for now. Of coerce, we will post an update when the US Google Store has the phones available for purchase once again.
