SoundCloud introduces The Upload, a personalized way to discover new music

The truth is I never keep my music subscriptions for long. I keep listening to the same collection of songs and it would probably be cheaper to just buy them individually. This is exactly why companies are trying to help you constantly discover new songs. Enter The Upload, SoundCloud’s solution for keeping your playlists fresh.

What makes The Upload special? In essence, it is pretty much like Spotify’s Discover weekly, but SoundCloud focuses more on the title’s recency. The idea is that the service will analyze your current interests and recommend similar music. The Upload only suggests content that has been uploaded within the last few days, so it is always changing and keeping itself relevant.

There is plenty to be had from SoundCloud. The service does offer the largest library with over 125 million songs, from both mainstream artists and independent musicians. It sure is a good place to discover music.
