Vysor arrives on the Play Store
Ever wish you could have your phone’s interface displayed on your computer while you’re working? That way if you get notifications, you don’t have to necessarily pull out your phone at every buzz – you just glance at the mirrored window, click through what you need, then keep on trucking. Well, this capability just got a bit easier now that Vysor is hitting the Google Play Store.
Vysor is a Chrome app that lets your Android device display its screen right on your PC or Mac. The app takes advantage of the Android Debug Bridge to mirror your phone or tablet’s screen a window. Previously, the app had to be installed on your device via ADB, an actuality that may have discouraged less savvy users. With its arrival on the Google Play Store, the app will become more accessible than ever before.
All by itself, the Android app doesn’t really do much except direct you to the Chrome Store so that you can download the partner app for your browser. It then helps walk you through the process of getting your Android device paired with Chrome through a USB cable.
For those looking for upper-end features, including the ability to drag and drop files from one device to the other seamlessly or wireless capabilities, Vysor Pro is available for $1.99 per month or $9.99 per year. Click the button below to grab the app from the Play Store, and head on over to the Chrome Store to get started here.
