Action Launcher finally offers theme support, including dark theme
Android developer Chris Lacy announced today version 42 of Action Launcher.
Now available on the Play Store, Action Launcher v42 finally includes theme support. That means you can now pick between light, dark, and full dark themes. The full dark theme will look particularly great on AMOLED panels. However, the difference in battery savings compared to the normal dark theme is negligible.
Also included in the update is changes to Quicktheme, which automatically colors home screen items to match your wallpaper. You can now select specific colors for the various home screen items, such as the search box, folder background, and app drawer.

Quicktheme now also integrates better with the current theme. For example, you can set the search box to change with your wallpaper, but have the folder background tint change with the theme and the app drawer ignore any changes.
Rounding out the list of features in Action Launcher v42 are Google Discover matching the theme selection and deeper ActionDash integration. Action Launcher now provides a shortcut to usage stats for a specific app and grays out icons of blocked apps.
