Amazfit Bip U Pro hits India: A cheap watch with Alexa smarts
- Huami has launched the Amazfit Bip U Pro smartwatch in India.
- The watch will be available from mid-April for Rs 4,999 (~$68).
Huami launched the Amazfit Bip U Pro smartwatch in the US late last year, essentially being a rebranded Amazfit Pop Pro that was previously launched in China. It looks like the wait will soon be over for Indian consumers, as Huami launched the watch locally today.
The Amazfit Bip U Pro is a step above the standard Bip U watch, differing from the vanilla model by including on-board GPS and Alexa smarts. Otherwise, it shares the Bip U’s 1.43-inch color screen, heart-rate monitoring, SpO2 tracking, and 5ATM water resistance.
Other features available on the smartwatch include 60 workout modes, stress monitoring, sleep tracking, Huami’s PAI assessment system, and up to nine days of juice.
Huami revealed that the Amazfit Bip U Pro will retail for Rs 4,999 (~$68) and will be available via the likes of Amazon and the Amazfit website from mid-April. The watch will be available in black, green, and pink color options.
