Nokia 7.1 Useage

HMD Global is one of the best manufacturers around when it comes to updating handsets with the latest version of Android. Now, we have some newly-leaked Android 10 Nokia beta builds for four different smartphones: the Nokia 6.1, 6.1 Plus, 7 Plus, and Nokia 7.1.

The leaked builds for all four phones popped up at XDA Developers through senior member hikari_calyx.

These are internal beta builds, which means they are definitely not designed for public use. Although there are straightforward instructions on how to flash one of these Android 10 Nokia beta builds to your device, we’d advise against doing so if you use that phone as your daily driver. However, if you’re feeling bold, you can click one of the buttons at the bottom of this article and get started.

These new Android 10 builds come with a host of new features, including the new Android 10 gestures, Smart Reply integration within all applications, better privacy controls, Focus Mode, and more. These are features built-in to Android 10 though, and it doesn’t appear HMD Global is adding any Nokia-exclusive features, at least not according to these leaked beta builds.

Since these four Nokia devices run on the Android One program, the lack of OEM-specific features makes sense, though, so you shouldn’t expect anything on top of the basic Android 10 functions.

HMD Global revealed its Android 10 Nokia roadmap a few weeks ago. The Nokia 8.1 has already seen an official build of Android 10, and the very existence of these four beta builds suggests the company is ready to stick to its stated schedule.

If you want to take a risk and install one of these builds on your device, click the buttons below. However, we strongly advise waiting as there’s no telling what problems could pop up with these non-public releases.
