Oct 20, 2026 — 5:08 PM ET

- Google has released Android 17 QPR3 Beta 2 for Pixel 6a and newer devices.
- The current build is our second QPR3 release to land this month, just days after QPR2 Beta 7.1.
- Google shares a large list of fixes, including those for multiple stability issues.
How far out into the future are you looking when it comes to Android? Our first taste of Android 18 probably isn’t too far off, but right now, Google’s Pixel testing community has their hands full with both QPR2 and QPR3 previews. We just saw Android 17 QPR2 Beta 7.1 land at the tail end of last week, and now we’re making fresh progress on the other track, as Google pushes out Android 17 QPR3 Beta 2.
It’s been just over two weeks since Google got this Beta going with Android 17 QPR 3 Beta 1, and based on the hefty changelog attached, the developers have been plenty busy since. Here are all the fixes you can look forward to:

Just like before, this one’s available for all Pixel hardware from the Pixel 6a on up through the present Pixel 11 series. But unlike last time around, there’s the same build for all those devices: DP11.261002.005.
Even with that jumbo-size list of fixes, we bet there’s a whole lot of other changes worth paying attention to that are still hiding within this release — and we don’t plan to let them stay hidden for long. We’ll be digging through this latest Beta presently, and loop you in on everything interesting we manage to spot.
If you’re tempted to start getting involved with testing upcoming releases like this for yourself, go ahead and back up all your important data first, and then register your hardware with Google’s Android Beta for Pixel program.
