The Android N preview version of Google Camera is now available in Google Play
Google is doing things a little differently this year with the Android N Developer Preview. N’s support for Quick Replies from the notifications shade rapidly appeared in Hangouts, the fancy new Unicode 9.0 emoji arrived before they were officially announced and now the Google Camera version contained in the preview is available in Google Play.

The new Google Camera is v3.2 and contains all the changes you would have read about already, including the ability to snap photos while recording video (thanks to a dedicated shutter button above the record button in video mode), a new slow-motion mode (if your phone supports it – 120 fps on the Nexus 5X and up to 240 fps on the Nexus 6P) in the nav drawer and some new icons and buttons. Note that not all new features are available on all Nexuses.
Shooting in HDR Mode will hopefully experience the same increase of speed found in the N preview 2. What used to be a painfully long wait while HDR did its thing has now become a bearable experience.
You don’t have to do anything special, just sit back and wait for the update notification to come in. It’ll be a staged rollout, so don’t fret if you don’t get the update straight away. As always, you can hunt around for the APK, but make sure you install only from sources you trust.
