How important are timely Android updates to you? (Poll of the Week)

I currently own and use the Google Pixel 3 XL. Don’t get me wrong — the image output from the single rear camera is top-tier and performance has held up just fine for me, even if I run into memory issues from time to time.

That said, the biggest reason I still use Google’s flagship is for the timely Android updates. The only non-Pixel phone that truly keeps up with my Pixel 3 XL in regards to updates is the Essential Phone, and I can’t use it due to reception issues.

That takes us to this week’s poll: from a scale of 1 to 5 (1 is the lowest, 5 is the highest), how important are timely Android updates to you? For some, owning the powerful and feature-rich Galaxy Note 10 Plus is worth the extra wait-time for updates. For others, there’s no better feeling than getting an update the same day it was released.
