All Android users can finally play HQ Trivia
- The HQ Trivia app has left public beta and is now available to all Android users from the Google Play Store.
- The game enables you to compete with other contestants around the world in a trivia match.
- Winners get a portion of the prize money deposited directly into their PayPal account.
If you’ve ever watched a game show like Jeopardy! and said to yourself, “I would win so much money if I were a contestant,” you can put that claim to the test with HQ Trivia.
The app hit iOS devices in August last year and quickly became a sensation. Android users were left out in the cold (as usual) until a limited beta dropped in December, and then an open beta shortly after that. Now the app is finally in the Google Play Store for anyone to play.
The setup is simple: once or twice a day there are live trivia game shows, complete with a game show host. Anyone who is logged into the app during the game is a contestant and has a chance at earning all or a portion of the cash prize (usually $2,500, but sometimes as high as $25,000).
The host throws down trivia questions which you must answer within ten seconds. If you make it to the end of the round without answering incorrectly or timing out (usually a dozen questions), you win and split the prize money with any other winners around the globe. The cash is instantly deposited into your PayPal account.
Granted, if you’re one of a million people who win a prize of a million dollars, you will get $1, which isn’t that exciting. But hey, it’s a dollar, and you have the chance to keep playing and earn more.
What are you waiting for? Put your trivia chops to the test and earn some cash!
