Apex Launcher 3.0 updates UI with Material Design
There are a plethora of launchers available for Android, and although not as popular as Nova, Apex Launcher is still a favorite choice of many Android users. Apex Launcher was updated to version 2.7 back in October, with some Lollipop-inspired aesthetic changes, as well as a new Lollipop drawer icon. But now version 3.0 has been released with a new modern UI with material design.
As well as the new UI, there is a new material app icon, redesigned Apex action icons, as well as a new Lollipop drawer background and animation. Other Lollipop inspired items include: Lollipop folder style and animation, Lollipop search bar and scroll indicator, and the Lollipop drawer icon.
There is also a new scroll speed option (under Advanced Settings) that sets the speed for scrolling between the home screen or drawer pages. According to the changelog there are also lots of other UI tweaks and improvements along with some updated translations.
You can get the latest update from Google Play. The Apex Launcher comes in two flavors, Free and Pro. The Pro version costs $3.99 and includes lots of extra features. Are you currently using Apex? If so, what do you think of the latest update?
