ASUS ROG Phone 5 may come in an eye-catching white
- A leak hints ASUS’ ROG Phone 5 will be available in a white color.
- It’s not certain if this color will be widely available
ASUS gaming phones have only really been available in black, but that might change with its next model. Well-known leaker Ishan Agarwal has shared images of what he says is the ROG Phone 5 in a white color — distinctly more eye-catching than the usual shade.
It wouldn’t just be a simple palette swap, either. The new ROG Phone 5 color would have a host of blue accents, including the prominent side button. The sides and camera array would remain black, giving this model more of a “panda” look.

The ROG Phone 5’s internals aren’t expected to change alongside the color. If earlier rumors are accurate, you’ll get a speedy Snapdragon 888 chip, a 6.78-inch display, a hefty 6,000mAh battery and possible 65W wired charging. The rear cameras would include a 64MP main sensor along with likely ultra-wide and macro cams.
ASUS officially launches the ROG Phone 5 on March 10 at 6AM Eastern. Whether or not this white color will be available in all markets is another story. We wouldn’t be surprised if it shipped to only some countries or even as a limited-edition device, so you might not want to assume you’ll have this model in your pocket.
