ASUS Zenfone 5z launched in India: Price, Specifications, and Features
In a press event in New Delhi today, ASUS announced the launch of its latest flagship smartphone, the ASUS Zenfone 5z. First introduced at the MWC 2018, the Zenfone 5z packs in top-of-the-line specifications worthy of a true flagship device.
Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset, the Zenfone 5Z comes in three memory variants – 6GB + 64GB, 6GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 256GB. It sports a massive 6.2-inch all-screen Full HD+ display with a 19:9 aspect ratio (yes, there’s a notch!).
The Zenfone 5z runs ZenUI 5.0, the company’s proprietary UI layer based on Android 8.0 Oreo.
ASUS is liberally throwing around the AI buzzword branding all its signature features as AI-powered. While smarter charging technology, display, camera, and an overall phone experience are great, these aren’t using any machine learning and calling them AI is a tad misleading. That said, the key takeaway is that the ASUS ZenFone 5Z has plenty of optimizations under the hood which help make your phone experience a little smarter.
