AT&T will add data to some GoPhone monthly prepaid plans on November 11
Some AT&T customers who use the carrier’s prepaid GoPhone monthly plans will get some extra value starting on Friday, November 11. On that day, people who renew either their $40 or $55 plans (with AutoPay) will get some extra data for each month.
The GoPhone $40 plan will offer 4GB of data a month starting on Friday, up from the previous 3GB a month. If you get the $55 prepaid plan, you will be able to access 8GB of data per month, compared to the current 6GB of data. The $55 plan will still offer unlimited talk and text to Mexico and Canada as well.
In addition, AT&T will be offering a couple of device deals for new GoPhone customers on Friday as well. One will offer the ZTE Maven 2 for free with the activation of a new line and $30 for service. The other promotion will give customers a way to get the LG Phoenix 2 for $49.99, a discount of $20 from its normal $69.99 price tag. Both offers will end on December 31.
