Poll: Do you use an authenticator app?
The other day Twitter made SMS-based two-factor authentication paid on its platform. But that’s not the only way to secure your Twitter or any other accounts using two-factor authentication. There are multiple authenticator apps that do the job just fine. They are also more secure than the SMS-based solution, which can be compromised by SIM cloning or swapping attacks.
You have apps like Authy, Microsoft Authenticator, Google Authenticator, and more that generate one-time passwords (OTPs) for accessing your accounts on various services. So we wanted to know if you use any of these 2FA apps to secure your accounts or do you mostly rely on SMS-based authentication. Take our poll below and tell us how you play it.
