Ryan started his career in the field of science, bouncing from lab to lab measuring chemicals, writing reports, and so on. After deciding to pursue his interest in covering video games and technology, he traded in his lab coat for a laptop. He started out as a simple intern for an outlet then known as Answers, but quickly rose up the ranks to become the managing editor of tech and game content. During this time, he got to attend events like E3 and interview developers. After the company went under, he found himself freelancing for various such as Inverse, Forbes, and Digital Trends. In 2022, he found a new home at Authority Media, becoming a full-time news writer for Android Authority. He specializes in games, VR, TVs, and more. In his free time, he enjoys playing games, watching and playing sports, learning new languages, and talking about nerdy stuff.
