Poll: What's the smallest battery size you're willing to settle for on a phone?
It seems like most modern smartphones have relatively large batteries, especially when we look at the mid-range and flagship tiers. The introduction of 5G and high refresh rate screens may have had a major part to play in this trend.
Nevertheless, we want to know what’s the smallest battery size you’re willing to settle for when buying a new phone. You can make your choice via the poll below and leave a comment if you’d like to elaborate further.
What's the smallest battery size you're willing to settle on?
Just to clear things up, assume that the new phone you’re getting is a mid-range or flagship phone rather than a low-end device. After all, low-end smartphones tend to miss out on features like high refresh rates and powerful processors (and even 5G in some cases). This means they tend to be more frugal and can get away with much smaller batteries.
We can understand why you might be okay with a smaller battery, as some people are used to charging their phones every night. Furthermore, today’s fast charging tech often means you can get back up to a full charge in well under an hour.
Then again, there are plenty of phones with huge batteries and blazing-fast charging speeds, giving you the best of both worlds. Additionally, a bigger battery means that degradation over time shouldn’t be as severe as a device with a small battery.
