Here are the videos you don’t want to miss this week – May 13, 2016
Looking back at the videos that went live this week, there we quite a few goodies including two versus, the LG G5 vs G4 and the HTC10 vs Nexus 6P. We also had Gary explain high capacity microSD cards and Android compatibility, Jayce brought us some great news recap videos, and Joe once again brought us all the juicy app related news of the week in his roundup video.
Without further delay let’s jump in and take a closer look at the videos that touched down this week:
HTC 10 vs Nexus 6P
HTC was one of the first smartphone makers to truly embrace the metallic unibody approach to smartphone making, though many other OEMs have followed suit since. With the HTC10 we have the most premium and elegant HTCflagship to date, but how does it compare to the first unibody metallic Nexus? That’s what we aim to find out in this versus comparison of the HTC10 vs the HUAWEI-built Nexus 6P.
LG G5 vs LG G4
In 2016 LG is attempting to shake things up with a new metallic design, the removal of its back volume keys, and the addition of a module slot. It’s certainly a big shift from last year’s 2014, and so that leads us to ask a big question: how do the two compare? We take a closer look in this vid.
High capacity microSD cards and Android – Gary explains
If you have a smartphone that includes a microSD card slot then you are likely to ask, ‘what is the highest capacity card that I can use on my phone?’ Unfortunately the answer isn’t as simple as you might think. In his latest video in the “Gary Explains” series, Gary dives in and explains high capacity microSDs and size compatibility as it pertains to Android devices.
What is Stopping Flexible Displays From Taking Over?
In this video from Jayce he talks about some of the things holding back flexible displays from truly taking over. It’s not the lack of the technology as it turns out, but has more to do with not enough companies getting onboard with the tech. Be sure to check out the video, as well as the original article written by Kris Carlon (found below).
“Apple is outdated” – LeEco CEO Jia Yueting
In a recent TV interview China-based LeEco’s CEO Jia Yueting remarked that “Apple is outdated”. Certainly a bold statement, but is there any truth to his words? We talk about his news in the video above. Also be sure to check out the original article written by Matthew Benson (included below).
