Bethesda's Fallout Shelter now available for download from the Google Play Store
Even though we still need to wait a little longer to play Bethesda’s Fallout 4, perhaps this will tide you over – Fallout Shelter, the post-apocalyptic survival simulation game, is now available for download from the Google Play Store.
If you need a refresher, you’re in control of a Vault in Fallout Shelter, and it’s your job to collect food, water and other resources for the vault population, as well as protect them from attacks, fires and enemies. If you’re a fan of the Fallout franchise, you should definitely give this one a try.
As previously announced, the Android version of the game comes along with a few pretty substantial updates. New to the game are burrowing Mole Rats and enraged Deathclaws that can pose a threat to your Vault Dwellers. You’ll also get some help from Mister Handy – a robot butler that will help collect resources.
Fallout Shelter is compatible with devices running Android 4.1 and up, and is also compatible with Android TV. This is a free-to-play title, so expect to see a fair amount of in-app purchases. It should also be noted that it comes in at a sizable 141MB download, so make sure you’re on a solid Wi-Fi connection before you pick this one up.
