Bluetooth headphones are available at a variety of price points, from sub-$50 offerings to $300+ devices. So there really is something for everyone out there.

We recently saw leaked renders and specs for Sony’s premium WH-1000XM5 headphones, and that got us wondering how much readers are willing to spend on Bluetooth headphones in the first place. We posted a poll as a result and here’s how you answered it.

How much would you spend on Bluetooth headphones?

Results

We posted the poll inside our Sony WH-1000XM5 article, and it gained just over 1,000 votes as of writing. The most popular option? Well, 28.42% of polled readers said they’d spend $300 or more on a pair of Bluetooth headphones.

Presumably some of these voters are fans of Sony’s premium headphones in the first place given the article topic, but it still shows that people are willing to spend top dollar on high-quality cans.

In a distant second was the “$200 to $249” camp with 18.43% of the vote, while those who voted “$250 to $299” accounted for 17.46% of respondents. In other words, almost two-thirds of polled readers said they’d spend $200 or more on Bluetooth headphones.

In fourth place was “$150 to $199” (13.87%), followed by “$100 to $149” (11.15%), and “$99 and under” (10.67%). Fortunately, there are quite a few decent budget Bluetooth headphones out there as our sister website SoundGuys can attest to.
