Borderlands 2 arrives on NVIDIA Shield Tablet and Android TV
Fans of the stylish and breakneck shoot-em-up franchise Borderlands and owners of NVIDIA products will be elated to learn that Borderlands 2 is now out on the NVIDIA Shield Tablet and Android TV. The only cost of admission is $14.99 with no in-app purchases.
That’s right! Starting today, you can launch into the action as a vault hunter and face off against all the weird creatures and zany villains of the Borderlands universe. The 4-player co-op mode is left intact on this version of the game, so you won’t have to go into the wild alone. Team up with your friends to go toe-to-toe with the madness beyond the fringes of civilization. Because weapons are randomly generated, there’s essentially an unlimited number of possible kinds of loot to find. Gearbox ballparks the number of collectables at just around “87 bazillion.”
If you’re jumping into this game from the first Borderlands, then you’re going to have a ton of new content at your fingertips. New weapons, new baddies, new locales. Did we mention you can even dual wield sniper rifles if you feel like it? The world is your insane little oyster, primed for exploration and decimation.
