The Pixel 7 Pro is saving me from hearing a daily poop-related insult đ¤ˇ
On Monday this week, I received a call from a private number. Since I have a Google Pixel 7 Pro, I use the Call Screen feature. This very useful tool has Google Assistant answer your call for you to help weed out telemarketers, those annoying âyour carâs extended warrantyâ calls, and anything else one doesnât want to deal with.
The call on Monday was very brief. Assistant answered with its usual spiel, and the caller delivered their message: âYou smell like poop.â
This happened at 6:50 AM on Monday. I thought it was someone being silly and laughed it off. However, the person called back to do it again on Tuesday. And Wednesday. And Thursday. Now, weâre at Friday, and Iâve received the fifth call in as many days with the same exact message: âYou smell like poop.â
Obviously, this is both ridiculous and hilarious. However, I am truly thankful Call Screen is here to prevent me from needing to deal with it.
Thanks, Call Screen, but WTF?
First, I have no idea who this person is. The call information just says âPrivate Number,â so I canât deduce any info. I donât immediately recognize the voice, but it sounds like it could be a woman or possibly a young boy. Since all they say is âYou smell like poopâ and then hang up, I donât have enough audio to be certain.
Also, this is not an automated call. The cadence of the voice recording I hear once the call is over is different every time. That means this person is taking time out of their morning every day to call me and leave this message.
Finally, for the record, I didnât make this up. This is not a friend of mine calling for a silly little prank. I legitimately have no idea who this is or why theyâve decided to spend their mornings calling me to discuss my odor đŠ.

Thanks to Call Screen, though, I donât need to deal with this, regardless of what is actually happening. If I didnât have the Pixel 7 Pro, this number would ring every day. Since itâs a private number, most phones would let the call through each time as thereâs no way to block it because thereâs no number to block. Anyway, thanks Google for making Call Screen. Youâre saving my mornings.
