Catan Stories: Legend of the Sea Robbers is now available on the Google Play Store. If you’re familiar with Asmodee Digital’s other games, you’d expect this to be a direct board game adaptation, but it’s actually a text-based choose your own adventure game. You play as the island’s guardian and control the fates of the three inhabitants and steer them toward a shared destiny. Each choice you make has consequences, so you must choose wisely.

You’ll play as a powerful raven who is the caretaker of the island. Learning about the players you’re influencing, the environment around them, and how they interact with each other is crucial to your success. You have supernatural powers that allow you to reveal the thoughts of the human players and occasionally brings dark visions. The visions may bring new characters that will help in unexpected ways or hinder your progress.

Catan Stories: Legend of the Sea Robbers was developed in collaboration with Klaus and Benjamin Teuber, who created the original Catan board game. The story is based on an expansion of the original 1995 board game of the same name and set 70 years in the future. While the characters and story are new, the Catan universe will feel familiar to fans of the game.
