We asked, you told us: Apparently you all really like your custom ringtones

When smartphones first came to market, people were doing everything in their power to customize them. Even today, custom wallpapers, themes, and gaudy cases make our phones stand out from all the other phones.

Custom ringtones used to be extremely popular, especially once everyone figured out how to load music onto their phone. Personally, I don’t hear custom ringtones all too often these days, but perhaps I’m in the minority. According to last week’s poll, a lot of you still use custom ringtones.

Out of hundreds of votes, 56.2% of Android Authority voters said they use custom ringtones. 35.3% said they have used custom ringtones in the past but no longer use them, while 8.5% said they have never used custom ringtones.

So, almost half (43.8%) of voters aren’t using custom ringtones compared to the 56.2% who are. That’s far more than I thought — maybe custom ringtones are still popular and I had no idea!
