Therefore, you might want to turn over a new leaf and remove all your posts, especially when applying for a new job. Here’s how to delete all your Facebook posts without deleting your account, allowing you to start fresh.

How to delete all your Facebook posts on a desktop

If you’re using a computer, just launch your favorite browser, go to Facebook.com, then follow the steps below.

  1. Click on your profile icon, in the top-right corner.
  2. Select Settings & privacy.
  3. Go into Activity log.
  4. Expand Your Facebook activity.
  5. Expand Posts.
  6. Select Your posts, photos and videos.
  7. Checkmark the All option to select all posts.
  8. Click on the Trash button.

How to solve the “Technical Error” message when deleting posts on Facebook

If you encounter a technical error doing the Activity Log method, there is another way to delete Facebook posts from your profile page. This method takes longer, though.

  1. Using your favorite browser, go to Facebook.com, log in, and head to your profile page.
  2. Under the Posts section, select Manage posts.
  3. Hit Select all for every month you wish to delete posts for.
  4. When ready, hit Next.
  5. Select Delete Posts, and hit Done.

How to delete all your Facebook posts on mobile

The process is pretty much the same using the mobile app.

  1. Launch Facebook.
  2. Tap on the profile icon. On Android, it will be in the top-right corner. On iPhone, it will be in the lower-right corner.
  3. Expand the Settings & privacy section.
  4. Go into the Settings.
