The Dish deal for Boost Mobile is done, Boost's plans are now changing
The Dish deal for Boost Mobile is officially done, marking the entry of Dish into the heavily competitive wireless market. To celebrate, Dish announced today that it will be altering Boost’s plans to make them more enticing to customers.
The biggest news is that Boost will soon have a $hrink-It plan again. This popular offering comes with the tagline “the longer you stay, the less you pay.” This plan will start at $45 for 15GB of monthly data. The monthly rate will drop by $5 after the subscriber makes three on-time payments, and then drop by an additional $5 after six total on-time payments. That means after six months the plan will only cost $35 per month.
If you don’t need 15GB of monthly data, you can opt for another new Boost plan which will offer 10GB of data for $35 each month from day one. This beats the current $35 offering from Boost which caps out at a meager 3GB each month.
The two new plans will go live tomorrow, July 2, 2020.
Dish revealed that it has no intentions of changing the Boost Mobile name, but did reveal a slightly altered logo. You can see it in the press release here.
