Get your first month of Disney Plus for just $1.99 thanks to this promo
- A new Disney Plus $1.99 promo price has gone live.
- It offers a way to get the first month of service for well below the normal $7.99 a month price.
- The promotion will last until the end of the day on Sunday, November 14.
Update: December 1, 2021: The new promo deal is over but you can still save on Disney Plus by getting it as part of the bundle with ESPN Plus and Hulu:
Original story: November 8, 2021: If you haven’t signed up for Disney Plus yet, or you have canceled the streaming service recently, the Mouse House has just made it a lot easier to try it out for a very low price. Starting right now, you can sign up for Disney Plus at a special $1.99 promo price for the first month of service.
The promotion will last until 11:59 PM PT on November 14 (that’s 2:59 AM ET on November 15). This promo price is for both new Disney Plus subscribers and others who have canceled the service and want to return. Users will be charged the normal $7.99 a month subscription fee after the first month ends, unless they cancel it beforehand. This promotion does not involve the Disney Plus bundle, which adds Hulu and ESPN Plus.
For once, this promotion is not just for the United States. It’s also being offered everywhere that Disney Plus is available. The price for the UK promo will be £1.99, and it will be €1.99 for most of Europe. In Central America and the Caribbean countries and territories, the promo price will be $1.49.
Just in time for Disney Plus Day
The Disney Plus $1.99 promo price is being offered just a few days before November 12, which just happens to be the two-year anniversary of the launch of Disney Plus itself. The company is celebrating with a special Disney Plus Day, which will feature a number of major new content additions to the service.
These additions will include recent theatrical movies like Marvel Studios’ Shang-Chi: The Legend of the Ten Rings, along with Jungle Cruise, which will finally be made available on the service without an extra fee. We will also get a number of Oscar-winning and nominated shorts from Walt Disney Animation Studios appearing on the service for the first time.

Disney Plus Day will also see the debut of several exclusive original movies, series, and specials. That includes the new holiday movie Home Sweet Home Alone, the second season of National Geographic’s The World According to Jeff Goldblum, a new Simpsons short, a new Pixar short featuring the characters from the recent movie Luca, and Olaf Presents, a series of animated shorts featuring everyone’s favorite snowman from Frozen.
The event will also see a special centering on Star Wars character Boba Fett, who will be the subject of the upcoming Disney Plus original series The Book of Boba Fett. Finally, there will be a special look at the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe Disney Plus shows. We will likely see footage and get new info for shows like Hawkeye, Ms. Marvel, She-Hulk, Moon Knight, and perhaps Secret Invasion.
This Disney Plus $1.99 promo will likely be a popular one but sadly, it won’t last for long. While we wish the service had some kind of free trial offer again, this is pretty much the next best thing.
