European Xperia XZ pre-orders come with free Sony wireless headphones
After an unveiling at IFA earlier in the month, Sony’s new Xperia XZ and X Compact smartphones are now going on sale in Europe. If you’re in Europe and looking to pre-order the new Xperia XZ, you’ll receive a free pair of Sony MDR-XB950BT Extra Bass wireless headphones worth £150.
The pre-order deal is available when you order directly from Sony’s European online store. Sony is selling the phone in three color options – Forest Blue, Mineral Black and Platinum. The free headphone offer ends on October 5th in the UK and October 10th in mainland Europe.
The same pre-order deal has also been spotted at some retailers in the UK. The offer is also live at the Carphone Warehouse, where you can purchase the phone for just £499 unlocked, or national retailer Clove.
In case you missed our coverage, the latest Sony flagship comes with a 5.2-inch 1080p LCD display, a Snapdragon 820 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal memory, a 23 megapixel rear camera, and a 13 megapixel front facing camera. Sony has also thrown in a fingerprint scanner (which won’t make it to the US), Quick Charge 3.0, a USB Type-C port, and an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.
For pricing on the continent, you can order the Xperia XZ directly from Sony in the UK for £549, Germany, Italy, and the Netherlands for €699, Sweden for SEK 6,990, and Poland priced at 2,990 Zloty. Are you planning to stick in a pre-order?
