The Football Leather Moto X (2014) is now available exclusively at Verizon
Customization has always been a huge selling point for Motorola‘s Moto X line, especially with the newest option, Horween leather. Users can customize their phone through Moto Maker, and a few days later, receive a phone that’s specifically tailored to them. But what if premium Horween leather isn’t good enough? Somewhere out there, a team at Verizon Wireless seems to think that a football leather option will bring in more customers.
Earlier today, Verizon announced that the new Moto X with football leather is now available for purchase. The new leather option comes in at a $50 premium, just like the other leather backs. You won’t be able to customize it at all, so you’re out of luck unless you want a black front panel and black accents. Currently, it can only be purchased through Verizon’s website, although Moto Maker has it listed as “coming soon”.
Although many users may find the football leather option atrocious, Verizon must think there are enough diehard fans out there to warrant making a whole new leather back option. What do you think about the football leather? Are you anxious to spend your money on the new Verizon exclusive? Let us know what you think!
