  • The update is available for 5G variants in all European countries.
  • The update brings all of the improvements in Android 13 plus features exclusive to Samsung devices.

Samsung’s rollout of the stable version of its One UI 5-flavored Android 13 update continues. The latest device that will get to enjoy the benefits of the major OS update is the Galaxy Tab S8 series.

Since late October, Samsung has been slowly, but steadily releasing the stable version of One UI 5 to its family of devices. The first to get the update was the Galaxy S22 series, but the latest is the Galaxy Tab S8 series.

At the moment, it appears that the update is available in Europe for all countries, but only for the 5G variant, according to SamMobile. If you have a 5G model, the Galaxy Tab S8 will receive firmware version X706BXXU2BVK4, the Galaxy Tab S8 Plus will get firmware version X806BXXU2BVK4, and the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is getting firmware version X906BXXU2BVK4.

European Galaxy Tab S8 owners can download the update right now. In order to do that, you’ll first need to head over to your settings. When you’re in Settings, you’ll just need to scroll down to Software update. After entering Software update, you’ll find a button for Download and install near the bottom of the page you’ll need to tap on.

One UI 5 will provide updates to the UI, improve performance, and add a few new features. In addition to the One UI 5 upgrade, this update will also bring November’s security update. This month’s security update reportedly fixes about four dozen security and privacy issues found in both Galaxy tablets and smartphones.
