Is Game of Thrones on Hulu right now?
Game of Thrones, at least in this TV incarnation, has been over for a while now. However, despite the controversies around its final season, the adult fantasy series remains a very popular show to stream online. But what if you are not signed up for HBO or HBO Max, but instead you use Hulu? Can you watch Game of Thrones on Hulu? The answer is, predictably, a little bit complicated.

Does Hulu have Game of Thrones?
On the standard Hulu streaming service, the answer is “No.” Game of Thrones is not available to stream directly from either the ad-based or ad-free subscription plans.
Can I watch it on Hulu Plus Live TV?
The answer to that question is “Yes, but it’s expensive.” Hulu Plus Live TV on its own cost $64.99 a month. For that price, you get access to over 60 live cable TV channels, plus 50 hours of unlimited cloud TV storage and more. You also get access to all of the standard Hulu shows and movies on demand.
However, you can also add HBO Max to your Hulu Plus Live TV channel lineup. You can watch all of HBO’s current content, including shows like Westworld, Watchmen, and Perry Mason. You can also watch lots of other extra shows and originals like Friends, The Big Bang Theory, Love Life, and more. Most importantly, you can go watch the folks in Westeros, as all of the seasons of Game of Thrones are on HBO Max to watch on-demand.
The catch is that this add-on channel costs $14.99 a month, on top of Hulu Plus Live TV’s $54.99 a month plan. If you love watching Jon Snow, Sansa Stark, Daenerys Targaryen, and the rest of the cast, you will have to pay close to $75 a month to watch them on Hulu Plus Live TV.
Keep in mind that Hulu Plus Live TV is also a way to watch the upcoming Game of Thrones prequel series, House of the Dragon. It will debut sometime in 2022 on HBO and HBO Max.
