Google is bringing back month view to its Calendar app for Android
As it turns out, Google has been listening to your feedback and has decided to reintroduce month view to its Calendar app. Since Google updated the Calendar app alongside the jump to Android 5.0 Lollipop, many users have been begging the company to bring back the month overview so they can see more events at one time.
In an update that should start rolling out over the next few days, here are the additional changes Google Calendar will receive:
- See even more events at a glance with Month view on phones.
- See the color of events when jumping to a date.
- Easily switch views now that they are listed in the navigation drawer.
Google rolled out a number of changes to Calendar back in February which added a 7-day week view, but it seems as though users still weren’t satisfied. Many folks who were partial to the month view have been forced to use a different calendar app, so we’re sure this will be a welcome addition to the once-loved application.
Be on the lookout for the update in the Play Store over the next few days. If you have yet to download the app, now may be a good time to do so. Head to the Play Store link below for the download.
