New Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL leak gives us our closest look yet at Google's new phones
The many leaks for Google’s next Pixel phones continued today with new images that reportedly show the backs of both the Pixel 2 and the Pixel 2 XL. Prices for both phones were reportedly revealed as well.
The stories come from Droid Life, using unnamed sources, and they claim that the larger LG-made Pixel 2 XL will cost $849 for the 64 GB version, and $949 for the 128 GB model. The somewhat blurry images of the phone that were posted with the article show that the top quarter of its back, where its camera will be, has a dark black color. The rest of the back, which also contains its fingerprint sensor, will be colored either in a slightly grayer color, or in white. The official names for the colorways will be Just Black and Black & White.
The smaller HTC-made Pixel 2, as reported by Droid Life, will be priced at $649 for the 64 GB version and $749 for the 128 GB variant. The leaked images show that the top quarter of the phone will somewhat match the color on the rest of the back (no panda phone for the Pixel 2, apparently). It shows a Just Black, Clearly White, and Kinda Blue version will be available.
We will learn much more about Google’s second generation Pixel phones on October 4. In the meantime, what do you think about the look of the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL, along with their prices? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
