Pre-ordered Google Pixel 4 via Google Store? Your $100 credit is now available
Google gave $50 Google Store credit to customers who pre-ordered the Pixel 3 via its online store in 2018. This year, however, Google doubled the credit to $100 for people who pre-ordered the Pixel 4.
It’s been a bit of a wait, but 9to5Google reports that this $100 Google Store credit has now been applied to users’ accounts.
The timing is pretty good too, as the storefront gears up for a Black Friday sale next week. Google’s specials include $100 off the Pixel 3a series, and various discounts on smart home goodies.
The company is also knocking $200 off the Pixel 4 series, which means that even if you consider the $100 Google Store credit to be a cash saving, it was still cheaper to wait until this sale.
In any event, Pixel 4 pre-order customers can use the $100 store credit to get a few accessories for their new phone if they wish. These accessories include cases, the Pixel Stand, USB-C earbuds, cables, and a USB-C to 3.5mm adapter (Google doesn’t include one in the box).
The credit expires on January 31, 2020, so you’ve got some time before you need to use it. Those hoping to get the second-generation Pixel Buds will be disappointed though, as the buds are scheduled for an apparent Spring 2020 release window.
