The important Pixel 4 November update is now rolling out after delay (Update)
Update, November 12: Over the past few hours, multiple Pixel 4 users have reported the arrival of the November patch on their devices. Specifically, a user running his unlocked Pixel 4 on AT&T’s network reported that the update brought his version number to QD1A.190821.007.A3. We’ll keep an eye out for more reports.
Original post, November 8: The November Google Pixel 4 update brings important enhancements to the phones’ 90Hz display as well as camera quality. However, not every Pixel owner has received the update till now. A reader tipped us to this Pixel support forum page where a number of Pixel 4 users seem pretty upset about the missing update.
Forum users note that some Pixel 4 phones purchased from carriers have received the November update, but those bought directly from Google haven’t. Several Android Authority staff members with Pixel 4 devices are also yet to receive the OTA update at the time of writing.
On top of the ire over the absconding update, the original poster in the forum received a reply from Google saying, “you’ll get it when you get it.”
While the Pixel 4 November update is out of sight for now, some Pixel 3 users on the forum say they have received it.

We’re not sure what’s holding back the Pixel 4 November update. One user on the Google forum said that he performed a full system wipe and restore after which the update showed up.
Meanwhile a Gold Product Expert, someone who is a trusted and active member of the forum, said, “the update is rolling out and you should see it in the next few weeks.”
