Google Pixel 6 release date officially revealed
- The Google Pixel 6 will launch on October 19, 2021.
- This is the same leaked launch date we’ve heard from multiple sources.
- Google will announce at least two new Pixel phones, but could also reveal more.
After months of speculation and rumors, we finally have a confirmed launch date for Google’s next slate of flagship phones. On October 19, 2021, at 1:00 PM ET, we’ll finally know everything there is to know about the Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro.
To no one’s surprise, this is the same rumored launch date we’ve heard from various leakers. However, leaks are leaks and it’s nice to finally know for certain when Google will take the wraps off these hotly anticipated phones.

Although, there won’t be much for Google to “reveal” at the event. Through a combination of leaks and official announcements from the company itself, we already know a ton about the Google Pixel 6 series. We know what they look like, what their camera systems are like, and even know a bit about the mysterious Tensor processor powering them.
The biggest thing we’re waiting for at this launch event is the price of the phones. The latest rumors suggest the vanilla Pixel 6 could land in the $700-$800 range. Meanwhile, the Google Pixel 6 Pro could drop in the $1,000+ range.
Another question we have is what else Google could launch at this event. It is specifically calling it a “Pixel” event, so it’s unlikely we’ll see any non-Pixel products. Could there be a Pixelbook 2 or even the rumored Pixel foldable? Time will tell.
It’s very possible that between now and October 19 Google could divulge even more tidbits about the devices. Stay tuned here as we will update you with all the new info we find!
