Alleged Google Pixel 6 price just leaked, and it's not bad at all
- The Google Pixel 6 price for Europe could be as low as €649 (~$758) if a new rumor report is accurate.
- The Pixel 6 Pro may also be as low as €899 (~$1,050), according to the same report.
- Some of the phones’ color names may be labeled as “carbon” and “fog” by Google.
Google has been promoting the upcoming Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro for months now. One of the biggest speculations about the next Pixel handsets centers on how much they will cost, due to the fact that Google has been promoting them as flagship devices with the company’s own Tensor processor. Now one report claims to have discovered the Pixel 6 price options for Europe.
According to M. Brandon Lee of the This is Tech Today YouTube channel (via 9to5Google), he received information from a source that got pricing from an unnamed European carrier, which listed the prices via Google’s code names for the Pixel 6 (oriole) and Pixel 6 Pro (raven).
The listing showed that the standard Google Pixel 6 price could be €649 (~$758). For a smartphone that is supposed to have Google’s first high-end mobile processor, that’s a very competitive price. The Pixel 5, by comparison, started at €629 (~$725) in Europe, for a mid-range hardware phone.

If you are going to save up for the Pixel 6 Pro, Lee said the price will be much higher, at €899 (~$1,050). Lee claims that’s because the Pro model will have a lot of features that won’t be on the standard Pixel 6, including a bigger and higher resolution 120Hz curved display, support for UWB networks, and the extra telephoto rear camera.
Keep in mind that these pricing reports should be taken with a big grain of salt right now. Also, speculation for how the Google Pixel 6 price in the US will compare to Europe’s price should also be curbed as it’s likely those costs will greatly differ, depending on if Google adds features to the US versions, such as mmWave 5G support.
Lee repeats the previous rumors that the Pixel 6 phones could be officially revealed by Google on October 19, with a launch on October 28. He also stated that Google may label some of the Pixel 6 color choices as “carbon” for the black version and “fog” for the green option.
