Original article, October 28, 2021 (12:00 PM ET): Today is the official launch day of the Google Pixel 6 and Google Pixel 6 Pro. Of course, the phones are incredibly difficult to get with most models out of stock and pre-order deliveries seeing delays around the world. That’s no fun at all.
In lieu of that, we thought we’d have a little fun. Below, you’ll find four sets of four images. We shot each image in the same spot at the same time of day with four different phones: the Google Pixel 6 Pro, Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra, iPhone 13 Pro Max, and Google Pixel 5. Can you guess which one is which?

Before you give it a shot, know that these images are compressed so there’s no point in trying to pixel peep. Your best strategy will be to examine the photos for the trademark qualities of the manufacturer (color saturation, focus, HDR, etc.). Also, do note that each mystery phone matches up in each group. In other words, if you think Phone C in the first group is the Google Pixel 6 Pro, then it must also be Phone C in the other groups.
