First retail unboxing video of leaked Pixel 6 is here
Update, October 19, 2021: The Pixel 6 series is here! Read our in-depth buyer guide for all the info you need, and check out our hands-on impressions of both the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro for more detail.
Over the past few weeks, we’ve seen plenty of images and videos of real-life Pixel 6 units. However, these have almost certainly been late prototype models, meaning not the same as the ones you’ll end up buying after they launch tomorrow.
Today, though, we have what we think is our first-ever look at a retail-ready Google Pixel 6 unboxing. A video from Chris DB on Twitter shows what we assume to be a retail model of the phone. According to Chris’ Twitter, he lives in Romania, so this is very likely a European model of the device.
You can see Chris’ original tweet here. But, in case it is removed, we’ve mirrored the video below.
Google Pixel 6 unboxing leak
The retail model of the Pixel 6 appears to be a 128GB version in the Sorta Seafoam colorway. Inside the box is the phone, a USB-C to USB-C cable, and a data transfer adapter tool. There is the usual miscellaneous paperwork as well as a paper-like screen protector covering the display.
These in-box retail contents shouldn’t be too surprising. Google confirmed the Pixel 6 series would not come with wall chargers in the box, so we didn’t need a Google Pixel 6 unboxing video to prove that. However, it is still cool to see what the retail experience will be like for the Pixel 6.
It’s only a matter of time before Pixel 6 unboxing videos like this flood the internet. Stay tuned.
