These new Pixel 6a skins turn your phone into a Ninja Turtle

Google Pixel 6a pre-orders kicked off this week, and accessory maker Dbrand is marking the occasion by releasing a Pixel 6a skin based on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

The company previously teased these skins for the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro late last year, but it’s actually delivering with the Pixel 6a (h/t: The Verge). The skins feature that distinctive green color, while the camera bar area matches the colors of characters Donatello, Leonardo, Michaelangelo, and Raphael.

The Ninja Turtle-themed Pixel skins will set you back $24.95 each on the Dbrand website, with orders shipping out in “early August.” There’s no word on whether these skins are licensed products though, so you might have to act quickly if you want them.

These are just the latest interesting designs from the company though, also offering Nothing-style skins for some phones and “teardown” skins that give an idea of what the inside of your phone looks like.

Either way, we always like it when companies take advantage of a phone’s design. Now, about somehow making a Battlestar Galactica-style Cylon skin.
