After months of teasing, Google has finally launched the Pixel 7 series. Google’s latest flagship is making big strides in imaging with new camera features and improved AI capabilities with the all-new Tensor G2 processor. Signaling its confidence in the updated Pixel line’s competitiveness, Google has announced that the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro will be available in five new countries across Europe and Asia.
Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and the Netherlands join Google’s existing list of supported European countries to access Google’s flagship hardware. Meanwhile, Indian users too will be able to get a taste of Google’s high-end smartphones after a gap of almost four years. 2018’s Pixel 3 was the last premium Pixel phone to launch in the country.
With the updated list of regions, the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro will have the widest availability ever for a Pixel phone. The full list of countries includes the US, UK, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Ireland, Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Japan, Australia, Singapore, Taiwan, and India.
Pricing for the Pixel 7 starts at $599 in the US and €649 in Europe. Meanwhile, the Pixel 7 Pro will be available at a starting price of $899 and €899 in the US and Europe, respectively. In India, the Pixel 7 is priced at Rs. 59,999 (~$735), while the Pixel 7 Pro will retail for Rs. 84,999 (~$1041). Both phones are available for pre-order now, and shipments will take place from October 13.
